Role Description

​

This is a full-time hybrid role for an OLS or Articling Student at Jaymac Land Surveys in Perth, ON, with flexibility for remote work. The OLS or Articling Student will be expected to undertake a variety of tasks including but not limited to assisting with client liaison, invoicing, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, reference plans, research, and document preparation. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about surveying . This is a hybrid role, having time both in the office and field, 50/50.

We offer the option to purchase shares of the company after 1 year.

Qualifications

​

• Commissioned Ontario Land Surveyor or having sufficient education and approvals to article.

• Extensive knowledge of cadastral surveying and engineering surveying in Ontario.

• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.

• A strong desire to learn and grow.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks

• Proficient in MicroSurvey CAD and Field Genius, or other software.

• Familiarity with field equipment such as total stations, GPS, and data collectors

• A valid driver's license
